Jim has spent more than thirty years in the investment business. He was at the forefront of Wellington Management Company’s investment capability and client globalization effort. As head of the Quantitative Investment Group he brought a nascent unit to over $30 billion in assets under management. While running this group, Jim oversaw the development of leading edge investment tools and strategies. He was responsible for client assets and relationships in over 25 countries, spanning a full range of equity mandates. Most recently Jim served as Global Strategist, utilizing his broad investment knowledge to counsel clients around the world in all asset classes and strategies.
Jim earned an MBA in the evenings from Babson in 1985 with a specialty in management information systems and holds a BS in finance, magna cum laude, from Boston University, 1981. Jim has served many organizations including Babson Graduate School Advisory, Greater Boston Catholic Charities and Greater Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. Currently Jim also serves as Trustee for the Essex County Community Foundation.
