Curtis Elliott Farmer is Coordinator of the English as Foreign Language Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He holds a Bachelors degree in English from Texas A&M University main campus (1978) and a Master of International Relations from Columbia University in New York (1981). He is abd PhD in Political Science, also from Texas A&M. He has served as a technical writer for the United States Army and the government of Mexico. He was a research associate at the Georgetown University Center for Strategic and International Studies (1985-89). Mr. Farmer has been with the Texas A&M System for fifteen years, thirteen in the Middle East.
