Michael Mozill is an Associate Professor of Business Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He is a 2003 graduate of Babson College’s MBA program. He taught courses in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Babson from January 2007 to April 2014. At Babson Global, Michael worked to develop the undergraduate curriculum and the Marketing Program for the SAMA College of Business and Entrepreneurship, King Abdullah Economic City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Michael has taught four continents for Babson College and Babson Global. He was voted Professor of the Year by Babson College’s 2012 Undergraduate Class.
Born in Brooklyn, NY (but a life-long Red Sox fan), Michael received a BS in biology from the State University of New York at Albany in 1976. From 1977 to 1986, he worked in blood banking. He left the field in 1986 to begin his ‘entrepreneurial journey’, starting SBB Equipment Corporation, where he is the sole-employee in his business of selling and servicing automotive repair equipment and supplies. In 1994, he ventured a similar project: The Alvis Company, an on-line business. As he winds down those businesses to dedicate more time and effort into teaching, he was the Northeast US sales representative for ModuLube, Modular Fast Lube Facilities; former Chief Marketing and Customer Service Officer for Worldwide Beauty Exchange, an on-line distributor of professional beauty industry products; and a Lecturer in Marketing for Babson Global.
Michael and his wife Debra have been married since 1983 and they are the proud parents of two sons; Brian (a resource specialist/teacher in San Francisco) and Adam (a tech sales specialist in Chicago, IL).
