As an executive academic administrator, Dr. Tala Khudairi has collaboratively led diverse higher education communities, divisions, education programs and assessment initiatives. She has created numerous efficiencies while managing a wide-range of operations and organization resources including financial, human, physical and technological. Khudairi has extensive experience in fostering entrepreneurial academic-industry enterprises regionally and internationally and is pleased to join Babson Global Inc., Babson College as its Executive Director. Previously, Dr. Khudairi worked as Vice President of New England Commission of Higher Education of New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE of NEASC), where she served as liaison, advised 250 colleges and universities and influenced the improvement to the quality of institutions’ self-study reports in meeting the criteria of the Standards for Accreditation. Prior to the Commission, Khudairi served students for over a decade as an academic Dean of community colleges, where she advanced the mission of access, and led and transformed Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) divisions to meet the demand for an innovative economy. Her degrees include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic, a M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology, and a Ph.D. in Biology/Pharmaceutical Sciences, both from Northeastern University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and completed the Management and Leadership Education Graduate School of Education Harvard University, and Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Wellesley College. Tala is multi-lingual and enjoys presenting nationally and internationally on leadership, educational assessment and quality assurance.
