Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business Entrepreneurship
Babson Global, Inc. has collaborated with the MISK Foundation, King Abdullah Economic City (“KAEC”), and Lockheed Martin to launch a college of business and entrepreneurship in KAEC, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The college, established under the auspices of KAEC, is the first educational institution in the Kingdom to offer university degrees and postgraduate courses in Entrepreneurship. Reflecting the importance of the institution for the social and economic development of Saudi Arabia, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom agreed to lend his name to the college, which has been re-branded “Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship” (“MBSC”). In June 2016 at an official ceremony in Washington, D.C., His excellency Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman joined Babson College President Kerry Healey, Secretary General of MISK Foundation Bader Al-Askar, Executive President of KAEC, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MBSC to celebrate the re-branding event.
The establishment of MBSC is a vital step toward creating an entrepreneurship eco-system in the region that is consistent with King Salman’s vision to promote the intellectual development of Saudi citizens. Through Babson Global’s assistance, the College will develop a cutting edge curriculum and recruit stellar international faculty who will foster an educational experience relevant to the needs of the peoples of the region.
